Biggest Project Yet

SplatDesign took on a massive project today, whilst others were nursing New Years Day hangovers, we set to work on what has been our biggest undertaking yet. Contractually, we can’t talk about what the project is, but there’s over 30,000 characters of PHP, CSS, HTML and Java Script, a SQL database that’s growing at a rapid rate, and a system that’s been hardened against XSS and SQL Injection attacks. Plus we even got a chance to shoot our on Stock Photos, keep an eye out in the product once it’s released for photos of our staff.

Once the website goes public, we look forward to sharing some more info on the project that’s had our team psyched as we come into the new year.

New Server

SplatDesign's newest Sever

Splat Design has recently acquired a new server, and all websites hosted by SplatDesign have now been migrated to it, so what does this mean for you?

  • Faster speeds – We’ve clocked it in at between 6 – 8 Megabytes per second in both directions.
  • More Responsive – The server has more power and therefore is able to process tasks faster, speeding up PHP based Sites.
  • Local – The server is now hosted in Australia, meaning more local jobs and less latency.
  • Green – Our new server is greener than ever before, with a zero carbon footprint.

This upgrade is part of Splat Design’s continual efforts to provide customers the best. and is provided at no cost to you.

Somerville Venturer Unit – A case in point.

Recently Splat Design took a new customer – Somerville Venturer Unit.

We at Splat Design pride ourselves on being charity minded and community based, so we provided Somerville Venturer Unit with a complete web design package for a nominal fee.

The resulting page will keep the Venturer’s of the local community connected and up to date and able to easily organised their events with their new online community.
SplatDesign welcomes any other community organisations to contact Splat Design, for any IT solutions.
